A cyber-safety initiative by Intelligent Automation
For those who served — and their families

Thank you for your service.

You defended the rest of us. The least we can do is have your back online, and stand beside you off the battlefield. Argos Guardian gives every veteran free cyber-safety training, honest mental-health & PTSD support you can reach any time, and verified contacts for the people and organizations that exist to help you — nothing to buy, no catch.

Free for all who served — active, reserve, guard, retired, and their families.

If today is heavy — you are not alone

Veterans Crisis Line

Dial 988, then press 1  ·  or text 838255  ·  or chat at VeteransCrisisLine.net

Free, confidential, and staffed 24/7/365 by people who understand military service — no VA enrollment required. Deaf/hard of hearing: TTY 1-800-799-4889. If you or someone you love is in immediate danger, call 911.

The same training, and more

The scams that target those who served.

Veterans are hit with tailored cons — fake “VA benefits updates,” bogus disability-claim “helpers” who charge for free services, retirement and pension scams, and impersonators posing as the VA or a battle buddy in need. Our short lessons show you the tells and the one move that stops them.

Fake “VA benefits” calls & letters

“Action required — confirm your details to keep your benefits.” The real VA won’t cold-call or text for your SSN, bank, or card. When in doubt, call the VA yourself at 1-800-698-2411.

Claim “sharks” who charge for free help

Filing or upgrading a VA claim is free through an accredited Veterans Service Officer. Anyone demanding a fee or a cut of your back-pay to “help” is not your friend.

The battle-buddy impostor

A voice or message — even one that sounds like someone you served with — pushing urgency and money. Slow down, verify on a number you already have, and never send gift cards or crypto.

Carrying it home

PTSD & the weight you carry — you don’t have to carry it alone.

What you saw and did doesn’t just switch off when you come home. This isn’t clinical advice or a diagnosis — it’s a plain, honest reminder of what post-traumatic stress can look like in you or a battle buddy, and where to turn. Reaching out is the same courage you already showed.

Always on

Hypervigilance, trouble sleeping, nightmares or flashbacks, being easily startled — the guard that kept you alive downrange, still running at home.

Pulling back

Avoiding people or places, feeling numb or distant, losing interest in what you used to love, or leaning harder on alcohol to quiet it down.

“They’d be better off”

Guilt, hopelessness, anger that comes out of nowhere, or thoughts that others would be better off without you. This one, you act on now — call or text the Veterans Crisis Line: 988, then press 1.

Where to turn — all free & confidential

Real help, answered by people who get it.

You earned every one of these. Most are staffed by fellow veterans, and none of them will cost you a dime.
