A cyber-safety initiative by Intelligent Automation
Cyber-safety education · Grades 9–12

The internet raised your kids.
We teach them to outsmart it.

Argos Guardian turns online safety into something students actually watch — short, cinematic lessons that show real scams the way kids really see them, then hand over the moves to shut them down.

Why this matters

Kids don't get attacked in a dark alley. They get attacked in their DMs.

The same tricks that fool adults are aimed at teenagers every day — dressed up in the apps, games and group chats they live in. Most have never been taught to see them coming.

Phishing DMs

"Your account will be disabled." Fake logins that steal the password to their whole online life.

Fake giveaways

Verified-looking celebrities and brands promising free stuff — engineered to harvest accounts and cash.

Game scams

Free-skin generators, fake trades and "share your 2FA code" — where an account is the real currency.

Online pressure

Strangers who move fast to build trust, then push. Knowing the pattern is the first line of defense.

How Guardian teaches

Almost every scam gives itself away with the same three tells.

We don't hand kids a list of a hundred threats to memorize. We teach one pattern that unmasks nearly all of them — so a scam they've never seen still feels wrong.

It rushes you

A countdown. "24 hours." "Act now or lose it." Real companies don't panic you into clicking. Urgency is the tell.

The link is almost right

One letter off. A word bolted on. It looks like the real site until you actually read it — so we teach kids to read it.

It wants you to log in on their page

Never the real app — a look-alike that exists only to catch a password. The safe move is to open the app yourself.

→ not the real login

And one move that keeps them safe.

Stop

Don't tap while the clock is ticking. That pause is the whole game.

Open the real app

Go to the app yourself. If it's real, it'll be there too.

Ask someone

A quick "is this real?" to an adult beats a wrong guess every time.

Report & delete

Report it in-app, delete it, move on. No shame, no clicked link.

The lessons

Four modules. Real scenarios. Three to four minutes each.

Every lesson plays like a short film a teenager would actually finish — captioned so it works with the sound off, then closes with an interactive drill that checks they can spot it themselves.

Why we built this
We protect businesses from these exact attacks every day. The people getting hit hardest — and taught the least — are kids. — Intelligent Automation, the security team behind Argos Guardian
  • Built by practitioners. The same team that runs a real security operation for businesses — not a marketing quiz dressed up as a course.
  • Made for how kids watch. Cinematic, captioned, honest about the apps they actually use — no cringe, no fear-mongering.
  • Safe by design. No advertising. No selling data. No profiling of children. COPPA- and FERPA-aware from day one.
