A tool for protecting kids has no business exploiting them.
So Argos Guardian doesn't. This is our plain-language commitment to students and families. A formal policy accompanies any pilot or district agreement; this page is the promise behind it.
No advertising
There are no ads in Argos Guardian, and there never will be. We don't run ad networks, ad trackers, or ad pixels anywhere near a lesson.
We never sell data
We do not sell, rent, or trade student or family information to anyone, for any purpose. It is not part of our business model and it never will be.
No profiling of children
We don't build advertising or behavioral profiles of minors. We don't track kids across the web. Watching a lesson doesn't feed a data machine.
Data minimization
We collect as little as possible to run a lesson. Delivering a captioned video and a drill doesn't require a dossier, so we don't build one.
Designed with student-privacy law in mind from day one.
Guardian is built to be reviewed by the people whose job is to protect students — not to slip past them. If your district has a data-privacy agreement process, we're ready for it.
- COPPA-aware. Designed around the principles of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act for our younger audiences.
- FERPA-aware. We treat any school-provided information as the school's education records, handled accordingly.
- Agreement-ready. We can execute a district data-privacy agreement as part of a pilot or rollout.
- Backed by a security company. Data handling follows Intelligent Automation's existing security practices.
Talk to a real person about privacy.
If you're a parent, teacher, or district reviewer with a question about how Guardian handles data, we'd genuinely like to answer it.
This page describes our commitments and current design intent for a pre-launch education product; it is not a contract. A formal privacy policy and any applicable data-privacy agreement govern an actual pilot or subscription.
